Unfortunately, she didn’t win Album of The Year and Female Vocalist of The Year. Nevertheless, I think Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert deserved to win.

Taylor attended the People’s Choice Awards tonight and she looks fabulous as always. She went with her brother, Austin.
Also, congratulations to Taylor for winning Favorite Country Artist on 2011 PCA. Another fan-voted award for Tay, I’m sure she’s very grateful for it (: Elton John presents her with the award and she gave another adorable acceptance speech. However, she lost on Favorite Female Artist category to her friend, Katy Perry. Congrats to Katy!
Later on, Taylor presented Favorite Movie Actor award to Johnny Depp, whose daughter threatened that he’d be in trouble if he didn’t say hi to Taylor.

Taylor Swift won in three major categories at the Nashville Music Awards announced Wednesday (Oct. 7) during an event at the Cannery Ballroom near Nashville’s Music Row. Swift was named artist of the year and songwriter-artist of the year, and she also won a country album of the year award for her latest release, Fearless. Lady Antebellum received the new artist of the year award, and Jack White was named top instrumentalist. Liz Rose, who has written several hits with Swift, was voted songwriter of the year. Song of the year honors went to “The Time of My Life,” written by Regie Hamm and recorded by American Idol winner David Cook. Other album of the year winners in specific genres included the SteelDrivers’ self titled debut (bluegrass), Sarah Siskind’s Say It Louder (Americana), Kings of Leon’s Only by the Night (pop/rock), Jars of Clay’s The Long Fall Back to Earth (gospel/contemporary Christian) and Take 6’s The Standard (jazz/blues). Elvis Costello’s album, Secret, Profane and Sugarcane, received the Made in Music City award for a recording made in Nashville by a nonresident. The awards were sponsored by Leadership Music in partnership with Next Big Nashville, a music festival and conference taking place through Saturday (Oct. 10).
